SilentWool: Carpet

Acoustic underlay rolls for the reduction of impact sound transfer under carpeted areas. Very popular as a carpet underlay in older houses with floorboard gaps and draught issues.

SilentWool: Carpet is a roll of 7mm thick Sheep Wool Insulation, which is designed as a premium carpet underlay. SilentWool: Carpet is suitable for use under new or existing carpets in refushment projects or new builds.

SilentWool: Carpet is especially popular in older houses where there may be existing gaps in the floorboards, allowing underfloor drafts to make a room feel cold. The thick layer of SilentWool: Carpet under a carpet will also act as a long-lasting underlay, protecting the carpet from premature wear and tear. SilentWool: Carpet rolls are 20m (65.6 feet) in length and a density of 750g/m2.
